Goldfinger Clock app for iPhone and iPad

This clock is a little hommage to the third James Bond movie "Goldfinger" from 1964 with Sean Connery and, as "Bad Guy" Auric Goldfinger, Gerd Froebe. He places an "Atomic Device" in Fort Knox (set design by genius Ken Adam). Its countdown was stopped - as an exception not from Bond himself - exactly 7 seconds before the explotion.

So called "Sidelits" were used as displays which are utterly rare and only manufactured for a very short time before those Nixie, filament, fluorescence, LED and LCD techniques appeared (for whom numerious clock implementations already exist for the iPhone). Ive never seen "Sidelits" beyond the "Goldfinger" movie - stacks of thin glass plates with engraved "pixels" which reflect the light from a side mounted bulb upwards. Due to this construction the light of the current digit shines through the topmost plates. The "Goldfinger Clock" imitates this fading effect as well.

- Hide Status Bar as option.
- User definable color and brightness for foreground and background.
- No "Vintage Shadow" as option.
- Automatic "Night Mode" with reduced arbitrary brightness.
- "Screen Saver" to eliminate burn effects as option.
- Alarm with sound and/or vibration. Alarm remains active in standby mode.
- Disable iPhones "Auto Lock" as option to keep "Goldfinger Clock" permanently running.
- Date as "YYYY-MM-DD", "DD-MM-YYYY" or "MM-DD-YYYY".
- Time as "HH:MM:SS" or "HH:MM".
- AND: Define days within periodical intervals (a useful gadget not only for Bond girls...).

SPECIALS:
- Goldfinger Clocks alarm works also if the iPhone is set to standby and runs with battery. Other alarm clock apps often work only if the iPone is connected to the power supply or a computer.
